Dogs sniffing for clues.
Euphemia looked behind the curtain,
Ferocious with curiosity.
Gertrude read the chemist's notes,
Hydro-oxy-fluoride-sulfide.
Ivy carried a magnifying glass,
Judicious in her examinations.
Kate spent the night in the garden,
Lamenting with the ghosts.
Mary went to a tower,
Not resisting the ancestral pull.
Olivia stayed at home,
Practicing her karate kicks.
Quentina wrote a report,
Reflecting on cold cases.
Sarita found the body,
Thames-drifting eastward.
Ursula discovered the magic lamp,
Verdigris in the antique shop.
Wendy thought it best,
Xylophones to restore.
Ysolde drew a map--
Zoos included.
