Work is done now, time to think about the weekend. No plans established yet so I’ll continue working on my video and poetry projects.
May gray has shifted into (mostly) June gloom, although we’ve had a few warmed-up days. Wednesday in particular was hot and I ended sleeping like ten hours to recuperate from the exhaustion. A reminder to drink more water and to adjust the pace for summer.
Currently eating a late lunch and writing in my journal about odd dreams that I managed to catch the mere gist of.
I remember that sometimes healing is about sitting quietly with conflicting emotions and mapping them out with journaling. I also remember that healing is about getting out and engaging with the world.
The ambivert’s dilemma: I need my alone time, but too much of it is not good.
