There’s some bug going around. For me it’s been a week of a runny nose, a dry cough with a scratchy throat although not sore, thank goodness for that.
 

Felt groggy this morning but the symptoms are finally lifting.

I rather liked it.

Yes, it’s got the instalove thing, yes, it’s creepy, yes, you could argue it’s Wednesday Addams x Snape fan fiction, not really dark academia, yes, ok to all of that.

But my inner fourteen year old totally vibed with this book, so mission accomplished I think.

A solid 3 stars as a fun, pulp fiction/fan fiction read.

But would I recommend that everyone read it? No, I think it's probably too odd and too specifically dark romance for mainstream tastes. But for readers who like that, it's fun.
