A moment in floral time, which is also a reminder to cherish each moment we have.

A few years ago, I did a photo study on the life cycle of a rose, from bud to full bloom. And what a rose it was—a distinctive, eye-catching shade of hot pink.

The following year I went back to that park for another study… only to find that the rose bushes were entirely gone, yanked out of the garden altogether.

Since then, I’ve made a habit of photographing as many flowers as I can as they bloom. This pear tree had so many blossoms, they were blooming out of the trunk.
