Good weekend with fantastic weather. May is my favorite month.

Visited the gardens and this time experimented more with the poster effect on my camera. Interesting results but they turned out dark. This bird of paradise looks like the lead singer in a punk group.

I’ll work on the pictures and see how I can lighten and tune up the colors. Still, I like the contrast between the yellow rose and how the the garden dirt turned out to be a dramatic background.

While I’m thankful my back injury has been healing, there’s still some issues left and wow, I felt it this weekend.. Ouch! I have to remind myself to take it slower sometimes. Flowers bloom in their own time, so do we.
