Random Thoughts
Jun. 2nd, 2022 12:53 pmRandom thoughts and what nots for a Thursday afternoon:
-- We’ve had our feral/stray/rescue cat now for over two months and she’s adjusting well. Ms. Queen Kitty is companionable and loves to play. She’s not too cuddly though, so I pet her with my fingertips and do the slow blink thing to soothe her. She’s also quite the gourmand and will let me know when it’s suppertime. Last but not least, she’s a vocal cat and communicates with us in a variety of purrs, meows, and meow-growls.
-- Humming along on the writing project, working on improving my quirks which include using too many dialogue tags and starting sentences with and. “And another thing!” should be my motto. Also watching out for repeated character names; my Smiths have been multiplying like the ones in the Matrix.
-- Moving to an earlier shift for work which is good because it’s getting hotter.
