Now that a few days have gone by, some more Skibidi thoughts:

It was a trailer, not a complete episode, which is why the action felt rushed.

The opening narration, music, and animation were excellent. Still exposition heavy and I hope the character speaking there will play a major role in that part of the series.

The following animation was really hit and miss. Some parts went well, other were rough. I almost didn’t recognize TV woman because the model looked like a television stuck to a plastic robot body. Her warm-looking quilted jacket was a part of her character and why SFM is a great program to animate the show: it has that texture to it.

The plot was still confusing and if this was a trailer, points need to be worked out. The secret weapon was... not what I expected and wonder what they will do with it.

I feel like the writers of the spin off didn’t watch the original series. Which is not the worst thing to happen if they want to create a new series… but OG fans will notice and have opinions.

Anyway, looking forward to Episode 80.

Let’s go Dodgers, let’s go!

Cooking dinner and waiting for the game.

ETA:

Oh no, not off to a good start for the Dodgers.

All right, play it out.

Oh dear. Sad faces at Dodger Stadium tonight. It’s like the team fell asleep after Monday night and haven’t woken up yet. Pitching is off, cold bats.

But it’s like I said: the Jays are tough this year, focused and strategic. Trey Yesavage’s pitching was god tier. I watched him with amazement because he was so consistent.

More history made tonight, too. Back to back homers in the first inning, and Yesavage’s record for strike outs as a rookie WS pitcher is now second to Sandy Koufax, who again was in the audience.

Nice to see Magic Johnson, too.

And we got a great sunset. Was hot as blazes today, in the mid 90s.

Well, a day off and then onward to Toronto. Maybe Yamamoto can turn things around
