Speaking of vacations…. 

Some years ago, I took a vacation in WNC with the purpose of visiting Asheville and the surrounding area. On a whim, I decided to book a room in the nearby town of Hendersonville. The rates were somewhat less and it was a nice drive into Asheville. 

I had a good time during my NC vacation and still remember shopping in both towns, visiting the Botanical Gardens, and the meals I had at the diner on Hendersonville’s main street.

Then Helene came along this week.

These storms are crazy. It will take a while to recover.
