“Fake it until you make it” and “the answers are inside of you” are pablum at best and delusions at worst.
We have enough fakers in this world. And thinking you have all the answers leads to hubris and that leads to destruction.
It’s ok not to know everything and it’s ok to ask for help. We all have different talents and abilities. Ideally, we blend these skills together to create a functioning society. Humility also creates bonds of mutual aid.
But ah, the dysfunctional ones, the one devoted to hubris and fakeness, they don’t like that. They don't like truth. They don't want us helping each other. They’d rather that we be divided and at odds with each other, and at odds with ourselves because it profits them whether in terms of money or cultural power.
But does that power ever really lead to happiness?
From what I observe, no, no it does not. Like hungry ghosts, they want more and more and more.
