The weather is good, nice and sunny without being too hot, so out and about for errands today.

During the pandemic, I started a paring down project, going through books, CDs/DVDs, and clothing that I no longer used or needed. Then over the past year I've been donating the items to libraries, charities, and thrift stores. Made another donation today and looks like I'm almost done. Whew, a relief. De-cluttering is a major stress-reliever.

We also picked up treats and a new supper dish for Ms. Queen Kitty. She's doing better and relaxing some of the anxious behaviors that no doubt helped her when she living in the parking lot. But now she's got a nice kitty bed, toys, and people who love her.

Also, today is Independent Bookstore Day. There used to be anywhere from 4 to 6 used and indie bookstores in our area and after the combination of big chains/online shopping/retirement of store owners, we're down to one. I'm glad this store made it through the pandemic and make a point of still shopping there. Even though I now buy more ebooks, I still look for specialty and niche print books.
