Since I'm old and eccentric, I'm enjoying astrology. FWIW, some notes I took:

Jupiter Return: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72
Development: Am I moving forward? What is holding me back?

Saturn Return: 27-30
What kind of adult will I be? (Career, marriage, parenting)

Uranus Opposition: 42
A bolt of energy asks what does the remaining energy of adolescence want? What kind of change can I make to begin the second half of life?

Chiron Return: 47-52
What emotional wounds do I need to recognize and heal?

Second Saturn Return: 58-62
What kind of elder will I be? Will I incorporate the transcendence and wisdom of the outer planets or will I be stuck on the personal issues of the inner planets?

Inner planets: the first half of life (up to 50)

Acceptance of Mercury: literacy, communication, cognition, ego development, and wit

Acceptance of Venus: we are mortal beings in a physical body living in three dimensions so make the most of it

Acceptance of Mars: courage and facing conflict as an enlightened warrior (which at heart is a conflict within oneself)

Stuck on Mercury: obsession with proving oneself through intellect, wit, or arguments

Stuck on Venus: obsession with wealth and materialism

Stuck on Mars: paranoid mofos who have to turn everything into a war; tin soldier syndrome

Outer planets: the second half of life (50+)

Acceptance of Jupiter: learn new things, young at heart

Stuck on Jupiter: dilettante or never applying or following through

Acceptance of Chiron: we have emotions and wounds to heal; accepting imperfection and incompleteness; we may never completely heal but we can make progression toward that healing; negotiate Saturnian and Uranian energies

Stuck on Chiron: forever in therapy without progression or resolution, identification as victim/scapegoat

Acceptance of Saturn: structure, understand gift of aging, limitations, and personal karma

Stuck on Saturn: rigid, won’t learn, punitive mindset and obsession with one’s flaws or the flaws of others; depression, defeatism, and bitterness

Acceptance of Uranus: open to new ideas and change

Stuck on Uranus: chaos and unreliability

Acceptance of Neptune: aware of spiritual and transcendent realms, that there’s more to life than the personal ego

Stuck on Neptune: delusion, illusion, magical thinking, addiction

Acceptance of Pluto: collective karma, death and beyond

Stuck on Pluto: cults, identification with power, cult leaders, abusers, dictators,

At this time in history, I'm interested in the symbolism of Saturn and Pluto. Have a few books about them on my TBR.
