My current read is Neuromancer by William Gibson, the origin of cyberpunk. 

Actually a re-read as the last time I picked up the book was the early 90s. I didn’t get much of it then, but now, with both life and tech experience behind me, I am enjoying the book on a whole new level.

I’m still amazed at how Gibson was able to peer into the matrix and foresee what the a connected world might look like, right down to the brain rot and fragmented style of narration.
