Photo for monochrome Monday. With black and white photography, I look for the right balance between too low and too high a contrast. The Goldilocks grey zone, as it were.
Caught up on the Olympics last night and the overviews. The women athletes did well during these games, kudos to them! Alysa Liu’s performance was joyful and graceful. And congratulations to the women’s hockey team!
Working on my book-reading schedule to read at least half an hour in the morning when I get up and then at least an hour before bed.
Reading instead of doomscrolling helps regulate the nervous system and the non-glare, soft light of the e-reader makes it easier to read. (And even if I convince myself not to doom scroll, I can’t read on the phone because the screen is too small and too reflective.)
I also decided to alternate between serious books and fluffy books. My current read is The Prince and the Player by Nora Phoenix, a soccer-based, M/M romance. So far, so good, and π₯ on the scale.
