It’s also the theme song for my current writing project, too. As I go through my WIP, things I take note of:

Too many dialogue tags. Cutting back on those.

Too many poetic tics in prose. Ok for short pieces but creates clutter in longer pieces.

Overwriting: time for a Hemmingway prose fitness program.

Starting too many sentences with and or but: arrggghhh! Gotta kick that habit.
