The abusers are bad enough but it’s the enablers and the willfully ignorant that anger me the most.
The enablers think the abusers will protect them and then get those ol’ shocked Pikachu faces when the abusers kick them off the lifeboat. “But, but, but, I thought I was special,” the enablers sputter as they drown.
No, enablers, no. You are not special; you are only tools for abusers who will then throw away tools when they become useless or worn out. It’s a matter of time and an enabler’s time is usually a short span.
As for the willfully ignorant, not only will they be kicked off the lifeboat like the balast they are, they will, with their last breath, as the floodwaters close above their heads, say, “I didn’t know it was raining.”
And that’s how things fall apart.
